BodyTite In Miami, FL

Tighten, Contour, Redefine

Introduction to BodyTite

Stubborn fat often comes with a second problem: skin that has lost its snap. After weight loss, pregnancy, or simply time, the abdomen, arms, and thighs can feel soft and loose even when you are close to your goal weight. Traditional liposuction removes fat, but it doesn’t always tighten the skin that remains.

At Miami Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Pat Pazmiño, MD, FACS, and our team offer BodyTite in Miami, FL, a minimally invasive body-contouring treatment that reduces fat and tightens skin in one session. It’s an option for patients who want firmer contours without the longer incisions of excision surgery.

BodyTite-intro

What Is BodyTite?

BodyTite is a minimally invasive body-contouring technology from InMode, now offered on its IgniteRF platform. It is powered by radiofrequency-assisted lipocoagulation (RFAL), which uses controlled radiofrequency energy to melt fat and contract the soft tissue beneath the skin.

During BodyTite, a slim internal probe is placed under the skin through a small entry point while an external electrode moves along the surface above it. Energy passes between the two, liquefying fat for gentle removal and heating the connective tissue so that it contracts. BodyTite is designed for larger body areas, such as the abdomen, flanks, arms, thighs, and back.

At our practice, Dr. Pazmiño performs every BodyTite treatment himself, using InMode’s BodyTite device on the IgniteRF platform. BodyTite can be done on its own, but we most often pair it with liposuction of the same area, removing fat and tightening the skin above in the same session.

Your comfort guides the anesthesia plan. A single area can be treated under local anesthesia, often with regional nerve blocks and Pro-Nox, a nitrous oxide you breathe yourself, for extra comfort. When BodyTite is part of a larger body-contouring plan that requires general anesthesia, it is performed under general anesthesia at the same time. Because every body and every goal is different, Dr. Pazmiño evaluates you in person, listens to what you hope to achieve, and builds a plan specifically for you.

BodyTite vs. Renuvion®: What Is the Difference?

BodyTite and Renuvion® both tighten loose skin from beneath the surface, and patients often compare them. During your consultation, we will explain which treatment better suits your body and goals.

Uses radiofrequency energy between an internal and external electrode; it can melt and remove fat while contracting tissue, making it useful when you have both extra fat and mild laxity.

What Sets Dr. Pat Pazmiño Apart as the Premier BodyTite Practice in Miami, FL?

Who Are the Best Candidates for BodyTite?

You may be a good candidate for BodyTite if you:

  • Have localized fat along with mild to moderate skin laxity
  • Are at or near a stable, healthy weight
  • Have mild loose skin after weight loss or pregnancy
  • Want tighter contours but prefer to avoid long surgical scars
  • Are in good overall health and don’t smoke, or are willing to quit
  • Understand that BodyTite results develop gradually

If you have significant excess skin, a tummy tuck or other excision procedure may serve you better. Because Dr. Pazmiño performs both surgical and minimally invasive body contouring, he can recommend the option that fits your anatomy.

What Are the Benefits of BodyTite?

BodyTite addresses fat and loose skin together, which traditional liposuction alone may not do. Key benefits include:

  • Fat reduction and skin tightening in a single treatment
  • Firmer, smoother contours on the abdomen, arms, thighs, and flanks
  • Small entry points instead of long excision scars
  • Less downtime than more extensive body-contouring surgery
  • Continued tightening for months as your body builds new collagen
  • An option for patients who are not ready for a tummy tuck or arm lift

How to Begin Your BodyTite Journey

Your BodyTite journey begins with a private consultation at our Brickell office in Miami, FL. During your visit, we will:

  • Discuss the body areas you want to slim and tighten
  • Assess your fat distribution, skin elasticity, and overall health
  • Explain whether BodyTite, liposuction, Renuvion®, or a combination plan fits your goals
  • Review what to expect during treatment and recovery
  • Provide guidance on cost and financing

If you have had liposuction elsewhere and are left with loose skin or irregular contours, ask about revision options as well. Out-of-town patients can work with our team to coordinate travel and recovery plans.

What to Expect on the Day of Your BodyTite Treatment

Depending on the size and number of areas, Dr. Pazmiño performs BodyTite under local anesthesia, often with regional nerve blocks and Pro-Nox, or under general anesthesia when it is part of a larger body-contouring plan. Each area typically takes about 15 to 20 minutes, so your total treatment time depends on how many areas you treat in one session. Your BodyTite treatment generally follows these steps:

  • Marking: Dr. Pazmiño marks the treatment areas while you are standing.
  • Numbing: We infuse the area with a tumescent numbing solution to minimize discomfort and bleeding.
  • Entry points: We make small entry points in discreet locations near each treatment area.
  • Radiofrequency treatment: The internal probe and external electrode move together to heat, melt, and contract the tissue while we continuously monitor the temperature.
  • Fat removal: We gently suction out the liquefied fat when needed.
  • Compression: We apply dressings and place you in a compression garment.

Most patients go home the same day with a trusted adult to drive them.

Combining My BodyTite with Other Treatments

BodyTite works well as part of a broader body-contouring plan. We will recommend only the combinations that are safe and appropriate for you.

Liposuction removes larger volumes of stubborn fat. Adding BodyTite to liposuction helps the skin retract over your new contours instead of looking loose or deflated.

BodyTite Recovery

Your Guide to Post-BodyTite Care

BodyTite recovery is usually shorter than recovery from excision surgery, but you’ll still need time to heal. A typical BodyTite recovery looks like this:

  • First week: Expect swelling, bruising, soreness, and some drainage from the entry points. Wear your compression garment and take short walks to support circulation. Most patients return to work within 2 to 4 days.
  • Weeks 2 to 3: Discomfort eases, and you can return to more of your usual activities.
  • Weeks 4 to 6: With approval, most patients return to regular exercise as swelling continues to fade.
  • In the following months: Your skin continues to tighten as collagen remodels, and final BodyTite results appear over several months.

You will wear your compression garment for 4 to 6 weeks to support your skin as it tightens, and our team stays in close touch to keep you comfortable and safe as you heal.

How Much Does BodyTite Cost in Miami, FL?

The cost of BodyTite in Miami, FL, depends on the number and size of the areas treated, the anesthesia used, and whether you combine BodyTite with liposuction or other treatments. Facility fees and garments may also factor into your total.

After your consultation, we will provide a personalized quote. We also offer financing options, including CareCredit and Alphaeon Credit.
