What to Expect?

Week 1: Initial Recovery & Rest 

Expect some swelling and tightness—especially near old scars. Gentle walking is encouraged. Dr. Pazmiño will guide you through drain care and help manage discomfort.

Weeks 2–3: Return to Routine

Swelling decreases, and light activities can usually resume. Compression garments stay on, and stitches or drains may be removed during your follow-up.

Weeks 4–6: Building Strength

Mobility improves, and light exercise may begin with approval. Swelling continues to fade, but core workouts and lifting are still off-limits.

Week 6 and Beyond: Final Results

Your abdomen looks more sculpted and balanced. Most swelling is gone, and your belly button settles into its new, natural position.
