Laser Treatments

Lasers make it possible to perform high-precision and often painless procedures to remove hair and improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, rosacea and spider veins on the face and legs. At Miami Aesthetic, we use several lasers to provide optimal treatment modalities for a variety of skin conditions.

Laser skin resurfacing, commonly called a laser peel, removes the outer, damaged layer of skin and stimulates the growth of a new, fresh layer. Laser resurfacing with Dr. Pazmiño can reduce the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, uneven pigmentation and superficial scarring. Procedure time varies depending on the size and condition of the area being treated.

​​​​​​​Women and men who are tired of temporary, often painful methods of removing unwanted hair may welcome laser hair removal with relief. Dark pigments in the hair follicles absorb laser light and convert it to heat, destroying the follicles and preventing hair growth for up to two years. Dr. Pazmiño recommends multiple treatments for complete hair removal. Treatments are needle-free and do not require anesthesia. Most patients feel nothing more than a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band.
